Consisting of a nylon coated high grade steel calliper padlocked to an integral pair of chocks, “Chok-Lok” provides an effective means of securing your aircraft by simply chocking and locking the nose wheel.

The “Chok-Lok” system will suit most general aviation rim and tyre assemblies.

For maximum efficiency and security “Chok-Lok” is tailored to individual wheel sizes and can be installed on either nose, or main landing gear wheels depending on specification.

Stocks are held for the more common nose wheel sizes, such as 5.00-5 and 6.00-6,  with unusual and main wheel sizes available on request.

The unique coupled chocks and nylon coated calliper system fit snugly to the tyre minimising creep and chafing due to weather induced oscillations.

Please note that Chok-lok is not suitable for wheels fitted with spats or other types of aerodynamic fairing.

Development of "Chok-lok" was inspired by a desire to improve security, and safety, of general aviation aircraft by reducing the potential for unlawful or unauthorised use. The design employs simple manufacturing techniques allowing application of the device to the wide variety of wheel assemblies utilised on aircraft today. This flexibility ensures that the device will provide maximum security from a well-tailored fit without the need for expensive re-tooling.

Being difficult to forcibly remove, without rendering the aircraft immovable, the design overcomes one of the major disadvantages of “one size fits all”.

The tight chocking assembly further prevents accidental damage to the aircraft if taxiing is attempted whilst the device is still installed.
